It seems concerns about the counting of comments on the Taylor Wimpey planning application are worse than I thought. Comments from the same address are being grouped together.
Mid Suffolk has admitted that because of the “limitations of our online system we cannot accurately record the number of comments as we receive them on the website.”
However, they do say all objections is be considered individually and they are looking at adding an explanation to the website.
The planning applications area of the MSDC website is back up and running, albeit slowly, this morning after being inaccessible on Saturday and Sunday. I suspect the applications area is offsite and not something the council’s IT staff could repair themselves.
My previous post “Number of public comments on Taylor Wimpey application unclear” is here.
